Corbett Lane Bohannon VIEW PROFILE

Corbett “Corby” Lane Bohannon, 67, passed away September 21, 2018 peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was the oldest of 6 children and the only son of Melvina “Woody” and Clarence “Bo” Bohannon. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held this Friday September 28th at the old historic church at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 4214 Loretto Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.

Corbett was born September 20, 1951 in Jacksonville, FL and resided in the area all of his life. He is survived by his wife Lisa, mother “Woody” Bohannon, son Justin and daughter-in-law Lindsey and their three children Aubrey, Alden and Asher, sisters Cheryl Moody (Max and Maxey), Cynthia Bohannon, Cathy Terry (Michael, Spencer and Crystal), Celia “Deedle” Todor (Scott, Steven), Christopher Blair (Hailey and Madison) and Corbett’s step-children Emily and Eric Flecha. He is preceded in death by his father Bo Bohannon and sister Candy Blair.

Corbett was a devoted father to his son Justin and they loved to hunt and fish together. The two of them enjoyed many years fishing the SKA Tournaments as well as working together in construction where Corbett was an extremely skilled heavy equipment operator. He began his career working for his father’s site work business before starting his own site work company. Now his son, Justin, is carrying on the family tradition in construction as a licensed builder. Corbett resided with his wife, Lisa, in St. Augustine, FL and they enjoyed the outdoors fishing together as well as spending time with family and friends especially his three grandchildren who called him “Bebo”. Corbett was very loved by all of his family and friends and will be greatly missed. His family would like to thank everyone for their generosity in this difficult time and all of the thoughts and prayers.
