Woodrow J. (Woody) David, passed peacefully on July 19, 2011. Born on January 25th 1951, 'Woody', is known as a loving father, world traveler, photographer and Inventor, who lived life to the fullest. He is succeeded by his brother Charles David , sister Danette David-Richardson, Children Laura, John, Bridget, and Trevor & Kirsten David, and grandchildren Isiah, Riley, Gabriella, Kathryn, and Gavin.

I have known Woody for most of my life. There were many of us that went to Assumption School together. He was always sweet and a bit shy in his own way.
I send my condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Woody.

Woody was a friend that I will miss. I shed a tear for you. It is special to have a friend and it hurts when you lose one. The memories are long and deep.We were growing up together and we had fun. Camping out at the North Jetties, surfing, going to the Daytona 500 when you could pay $5 to get in, boating on the St. Johns, fishing, and enjoying life. Clearing a lot for Woody's Dad and laying the foundation for a new home by ourselves was great. What helped me when Woody passed was the night Woody came over and we sat on my porch, talking and laughing about the old days and hugging each other. I will start crying now, because friends are special and I have lost one. God bless my buddy, you are in my heart.

I grew up in the same neighborhood with Woody. Got togther with him a few years ago for a couple of drinks and a walk down memory lane. Just recently learned that he was gone. Shocking news. What caused his death?
