Jessica Luradeane Kelley (Regas)

Jessica Luradeane Kelley Regas, 63, of Cumming Georgia, died Monday February 9, 2015 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama of an aggressive and previously undetected cancer. She was born August 8, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida. Jessica worked as a Medical Office Administrator for much of her adult life. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to which she willingly gave many years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Marvin Kelley and Lucy Gladys Reynolds Kelley, her husband of 22 years, George Regas, a brother, Gael F. Kelley, and a step-son, Michael G Regas. Jessica is survived by her husband, Robert F. Byrd, her daughters, Elizabeth Regas of Cumming, GA and Valarie Regas Wentzel (Michael) of Acworth, GA; step-daughters Carol Regas Catlett (Rick) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Sandra Ferguson (Robert) of Charleston, SC and Roxanne Buchannon (Robert) of Cumming, GA; brothers Terrell M. Kelley of Destin, FL, Dale L. Kelley (Cecilia) of San Marcos, TX, Kevin L. Kelley (Susan) of Stark, FL; sisters Kathleen Kelley Hopkins (Jack) of Alpharetta, GA, Leilani Kelley Estes (Skip) of Jacksonville, FL, and Michelle Kelley of Cumming, GA; Grand-children, Sylar Jaros and Anya Wentzel, both of Acworth, Michael G Regas II (Mary) of Atlanta, Kim Regas Sabonis-Chaffee (Tom) of Atlanta, Brian Hirte, USN (deployed), Rachel Catlett Hill (John) of Orlando and Tyler Ferguson of Charleston; eight great-grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4087 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, FL on Monday, February 16, 2015 at one o'clock in the afternoon, Bishop Herb Ellis presiding. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In addition, a memorial service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5095 Holt Road NW, Acworth, GA. Jessica's radiant personality, fun-loving nature, exceptional wit, and generous, loving spirit will be sorrowfully missed by all who knew her. Hardage - Giddens, THE OAKLAWN CHAPEL 4801 San Jose Boulevard, is serving the family.
