Kathyrn Ann Meek was born September 11, 1951 and died of cancer June 26, 2013. She married Daniel A. Naughton Jr. in 1971 . Of this union three sons were born , Matt Meek, Joe Meek and Sean Meek. She is also survived by her mother Ann Oetjen Meek of Jacksonville, Fl., father Hunter Meek and step mother Betty Starling Meek of Macclenny, Fl and brothers John Meek of Jacksonville, Fl and George Meek of Ormond Beach Fl. Kathy received numerous scholastic awards while earning her undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida. Her abilities continued thru the receiving of her Master s Degree from the University of Phoenix. Kathy was a true scholar. She was employed by FDIC. Kathy s greatest love in life was being a mother to her sons. A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at 1:30pm by her cousin the Reverend Sandra Hedrick at Lakewood Presbyterian Church.
