Hi Chris and all. Bob and I (and Mack McCuller, Toby Williams, David Mims and especially Marcia Rice Baygents) kept up over the years. Bob spent many years as an art teacher at Kirby Smith in the Duval County School System. In addition to art Bob's true love was music and he became a very accomplished guitarist. He died on the 4th of July this year surrounded by friends and family after a few years of cancer. Bob had planned a party for July 5th at his house on the river in North Jacksonville with music, fireworks and all - I know he knew the end was near. His good friend Dan and a few others were able to shoot off the fireworks, videotape it and show it to Bob before he passed. Bob was a dear friend.

Thanks Ed for the update. He was such a NICE guy.
I will miss seeing him.. How wonderful for you all
to have been there for him. That is what counts
most is having friends who love you and share the
journey of life together! Chris
