When I lived in Florida I lived next door to Glenn and Pam. Glenn would go to the football games with my family, Greg Poirier, Joey Namey, and Hobie Jost. We all lived on the same street and sang all the way to the games. At that time Pam was dating Bill Calhoun and I was dating Bill Thompson and The River Hall Drive guys were always around to just hang. Those were the times my friend. Glenn made sure we all were happy. He is missed.

Glenn was simply the sweetest guy I've ever known. While we weren't the closest of friends, my memories of him are all positive and I remember him best for his gentle soul. While I know there was another side to him, just as there is for each of us, in my mind's eye I'll always see Glenn's sheepish smile and doe-like eyes which revealed his open heart. I've also thought of the strength and courage it must have taken for Glenn to fight back and recover from the devastating water-skiing accident he suffered. May God rest his soul, and may He grant peace to Pam and the Whittington family.
With deepest sympathy, Tom

Glenn was a great guy. We were neighbors & lucky to have Kristin Kennedy living in between us. When we were in junior high, a new house went up for sale on my street & I called Glenn's dad, Dick (we called him "the Colonel.") I told him about the house & he needed to check it out. They moved in a few weeks later & I was ecstatic my buddy was now living down the street.

All through school Glenn stayed my good friend & we continued to be friends at U of F. I lost touch with Glenn when he moved to the Tampa area & was saddened when I heard about his death. I still think about Glenn all the time - we had so many great times together.

I have an old picture of Glenn on my profile to honor my good buddy.
