OBITUARY
Robert Wesley Williams Jr.
September 19, 1951 – September 17, 2025

Robert “Toby” Wesley Williams, Jr. passed on to be with Jesus on September 17, 2025 in Jacksonville, FL. Born on September 19, 1951 in Columbia, SC, Toby lived a life defined by dedication, perseverance, and love for those around him.
He was a devoted father to his daughter, Gwen (David) Yates, and a proud grandfather to Trevor and Dawson Yates. He cherished every moment spent with family. He loved his parents and four brothers. Toby is remembered by his brothers Fred Williams, Glenn Williams, and Kent Williams as he joins his parents, Bob and Lynn Williams, and brother Greg in Heaven.
Toby’s talent and determination as an athlete at Wolfson High School earned him a scholarship to play football at the University of Florida, an accomplishment he held dear throughout his life. His professional journey spanned over four decades in the screen printing business, where he built a respected career marked by craftsmanship and commitment, producing approximately one million T-shirts!
Throughout his life, Toby formed lasting friendships that brought him great joy. Known for his humility, genuineness, creativity, and loyalty; he left a meaningful impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
May his legacy, memory, and God’s promises bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.

Toby was always one with great humor, a smile and was friendly to everyone at Wolfson. Toby's closest and lifelong friends Ed White, Chris Parker, David Mims, and Mack McCuller have lost a rock from the foundation of their friendship!
